Completion Standards

The lesson will have been successfully completed when the pilot demonstrates the proper entry procedures and understands how to keep the line-of-sight reference line correctly on the pylon during the performance of eights-on-pylons. The pilot will be able to maintain the desired altitude, ±100 ft.; airspeed, ±10 kt.; and heading, ±10°.
