Completion Standards

The lesson will have been successfully completed when the pilot displays an understanding of VOR orientation and of intercepting and tracking predetermined radials. Additionally, the pilot will demonstrate increased proficiency in attitude instrument flight. The pilot will be able to maintain the desired altitude, ±150 ft.; airspeed, ±10 kt.; and heading, ±10°.
